Turkmenistan replaces Deputy Prime Minister for Fuel and Energy Complex

Amanov Batyr Amangeldievich has been appointed the new Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan for the fuel and energy complex. The relevant Decree was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov today during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Watan news program of the Turkmen television reported.

Batyr Amanov replaced Ashyrguly Begliev, who today was appointed Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues, as Deputy Prime Minister for Fuel and Energy Complex.

Batyr Amanov was born in 1978 in Ashgabat. In 2009, he graduated from the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute with a degree in practical geodesy, geodetic engineer.

He began his career in 1994 as an apprentice printer, then as a printer in the Ashgabat printing house, where from 1998 to 2000 he was a computer operator.

After graduation, from 2009 to 2012, he worked as a locksmith, leading specialist, mechanic of the department for the operation of transport and mechanisms of the specialized department of mechanized works of the trust Türkmenýöritenebitgazgurnama of the State Concern Türkmennebitgazgurluşyk.

From 2012 to 2013 - Leading Engineer of the Capital Construction Department of the Türkmengazakdyryş Association of the State Concern "Turkmengas".

From 2013 to 2017 - chief specialist of the pipeline construction department of the State Concern "Turkmenneftegazstroy", acting head of this department.

From 2017 to 2018 - Acting Deputy for Capital Construction of the Head of the Türkmengazakdyryş Association of the State Concern "Turkmengas".

From 2018 to 2019 - Deputy Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas".

Since 2019, he has held the position of General Director of the Turkmenbashy Oil Processing Complex. And from July 3, 2020 to the present day - the position of State Minister of Turkmenistan - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas".
