The Kingdom of Morocco has announced its accession to the Group of Friends of Sustainable Transport, according to the website of the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the UN in New York.
The United Nations Group of Friends for Sustainable Transport (GFST) was established on July 6, 2022 by the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the UN. The group is an informal association of UN Member States aimed at raising awareness of the importance of sustainable transport and sharing views and best practices in this area at the global, regional and national levels.
The next 3rd meeting of the Group will be organized on May 10 via videoconference.
Previously we reported that Nicaragua is joining the Group of Friends of Sustainable Transport.
