Within the framework of the sixth meeting of the heads of the foreign ministries of Russia and Central Asia, the Russian Peoples' Friendship University named after Patrice Lumumba (RUDN) is supposed to be given the status of the base organization of the CIS for the training and retraining of journalistic personnel.
This was stated at a briefing on Wednesday by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
We remind that the meeting of the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of Russia and Central Asia will be held on April 14 in Samarkand.
At the meeting, it is planned to discuss promising areas of six-party cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, transport, energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (PFUR) was founded in 1960. Today, the university unites students from 155 countries. The university has five faculties, 10 institutes and one academy. It is the most international and diversified university in Russia.
