In Spain, on an experimental basis, it is planned to introduce a four-day working week, reports TASS with reference to information from the mayor's office of the city of Valencia.
Valencia will be the first city in the world to take part in a month-long experiment to introduce a 32-hour work week. The experiment will end on May 7, during which time it will be analyzed how the reduction of the working week will affect the general condition and well-being of city residents, the environment and the economy, trade and the level of hospitality.
In addition to Saturday and Sunday, Mondays are also declared holidays in Valencia for a month.
