Issues of the development of the agro-industrial complex and the course of seasonal agricultural work were put on the agenda of the workshop, which was held today by the digital system of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.
Having listened to the reports of the heads of regions and the Deputy Prime Minister for Agroindustrial Complex, the President of Turkmenistan said that seasonal agricultural work in accordance with agrotechnical standards, in particular, care for wheat, planting potatoes and onions, as well as organizing cotton sowing at a high level, is a steady requirement of the day.
It should be reminded that cotton sowing in Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary velayats started on March 24. In Dashoguz velayat, the sowing of "white gold" is scheduled for March 29.
During the meeting, the head of state ordered to keep under strict control the pace of construction of buildings and structures for various purposes, planned for commissioning this year within the framework of the country's socio-economic development program and the National Rural Program.
