Today, the new Law of Turkmenistan “On the city of Arkadag” came into force, which determines the legal status of the city, as well as the legal, organizational and other foundations for the activities of state authorities in connection with the implementation of the functions of the city of Arkadag.
In accordance with the new Law, a special legal status is established for the city of Arkadag - a city of state significance.
The legal status of the city is based on the Constitution of Turkmenistan and is determined by this Law and other normative legal acts of Turkmenistan.
