Within the framework of the import substitution policy, the auto giant replaced part of the parts, previously imported from abroad, Russian-made products. In addition, the plant now uses steel produced at the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant. At present time, the plant is developing a new steel variety that significantly exceeds imported analogues.
In accordance with the forecasts of representatives of the “KAMAZ” company, this year's profit may exceed 300 billion rubles.
