Kazakhstan will allocate more than 12 billion tenge (over 26 million USD) to support entrepreneurship, reported the “MIR 24” portal.
Grants and microcredits will be directed to the creation of business projects and their implementation, the amount of support from the state will be up to 1 million 380 thousand tenge. The main applicants for grants will be representatives of socially vulnerable groups of the population.
The acceptance of applications for grants for business development has already started, in the first stream it is planned to finance up to 2,6 thousand authors of business projects, in total, up to 9 thousand people will receive grants this year.
The state also intends to support young people by providing loans for business development at 2,5% with the possibility of repayment within five years, and those wishing to engage in animal husbandry will be able to repay the loan within seven years. Lending will be carried out on a competitive basis through the Agrarian Credit Corporation.
