According to the psychologist, the most inspiring songs have a tempo of 137 beats per minute, a verse-chorus formula, and are written in a major key. Also, a sudden change of key or the use of unusual chords can have an unexpected and enlivening effect.
Based on the described criteria, the composition Good Vibrations by the Beach Boys is best suited for them. Also, in the top ten most inspiring songs, the psychologist included James Brown's I Feel Good, Madness's House of Fun, Pink's Get the Party Started, Billy Joel's Uptown Girl, Bob Marley's Sun Is Shining, The Beach Boys' I Get Around, the famous song Waterloo ABBA, as well as September by the American band Earth, Wind & Fire.
