Turkmen handmade carpets and carpet products are presented at the annual exhibition-fair, which opened on Thursday at the “Nur-Plaza” hotel in Aktau, Mangystau region, Kazakhstan.
Exclusive carpet products from Turkmenistan are presented at the exhibition by Tumar Carpets from Astana, which is known in Kazakhstan as a supplier of high-quality handmade carpets, including unique samples of carpet weaving from all over the world.
The Turkmen handmade carpets presented here have high prices, but are invariably in demand. It is noteworthy that in the Mangistau region, in addition to Turkmen carpets, fruit and vegetable, textile and construction products from Turkmenistan are in high demand.
The current exhibition-fair presented jewelry, carpet, felt and textile products from different countries. Along with Turkmen carpets, Afghan, Iranian, Azerbaijani, Turkish carpets are presented here.
The trade forum is attended by wholesale and retail buyers, the Information and Analytical Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
