On February 14, from 13:00 to 17:00, the Turkish Visa Application Center in Ashgabat will accept donations for victims of devastating earthquakes in the southeast of the country. This was announced by the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye Togan Oral in his Twitter account.
At the moment, thick winter blankets are needed for humanitarian aid.
“This February 14, warm the hearts of your loved ones with a blanket sent to help the victims of the earthquake”, - the message says.
Important! Blankets must be new and wrapped in cellophane.
The collection point is located at the address: Ashgabat, G. Kuliev, 88.

On February 6, two earthquakes with a magnitude of more than seven points hit the southeast of Türkiye. The devastating earthquake was also felt in neighboring countries, including Syria, Lebanon, Cyprus and Iraq. So far, the death toll has stood at 31 643, with 80 278 injured, according to the Turkish Emergency Management Authority (AFAD). 6 444 buildings destroyed. A total of 11 302 damage alerts were received.
