Personnel changes in the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and Economy were made today by the President of Turkmenistan.
In connection with the transfer to another job, the head of state dismissed Muhammetgeldi Serdarov from the post of Minister of Finance and Economy, as well as the Governor from Turkmenistan at the World Bank. Serdar Jorayev, who previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, has been appointed to this post as a new minister. The relevant Decrees were signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during an extended meeting of the Government following the results of 2022, announced the “Watan” news program of the Turkmen television.
In accordance with the Decree of the head of state, Serdar Jorayev was also appointed Governor for Turkmenistan at the World Bank.
