The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov participates in the 26th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), which is held in Tashkent. This reports UzDaily.uz.
The event, conducted within the framework of Uzbekistan’s chairmanship in the ECO, is attended by delegations of the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, the Secretary General of the ECO Khusrav Noziri, as well as heads of specialized agencies, regional institutions and affiliated bodies of the ECO.
It is worth noting that within the framework of the meeting it was officially announced that Azerbaijan will become the Chairman in the Organization next year.
