“Turkmenistan” Airlines has made a decision to reduce the validity period of air tickets purchased before March 2020 by February 28, 2023. This is reported by the Orient website with reference to the air carrier.

Passengers will be returned their money or will be allowed to rebook air tickets without additional charges.

If a passenger has an air ticket for a cancelled flight from Ashgabat (ASB) to St. Petersburgh (LED), he is able to rebook it for a ticket from Ashgabat to Moscow (DME) or Kazan (KAZ) without additional charges.

To change the tickets on the directions where Turkmenistan hasn’t resumed the air connection yet is not possible. The carrier obliges to refund the money from March 1, 2023 for previously purchased tickets without withholding funds. The ticket purchase date must be not later than March 2020. The return is executed by the applies of passenger. The refund is made at the request of the passenger. You can issue a forced refund at the airline's offices.

Earlier, the validity period of Turkmen Airlines tickets for international flights was extended until March 25, 2023.

Today, Turkmen Airlines operates direct scheduled flights from Ashgabat to Dubai (UAE), Frankfurt am Main (Germany), Istanbul (Türkiye), Kazan (Tatarstan, Russia) and Moscow (Russia).
