The national tennis team of Turkmenistan continues to perform in the qualifying stage of the Asian Championship among players under 14 years old. Competitions are held from January 9 to 19, 2023 with the participation of the strongest young tennis players from Asia from eight countries in Bahrain.

Turkmenistan is represented by Imran Ahundov and Selim Chagylov, also by Natalya Matrynova and Ilim Guseynov. Tennis players will perform under the guidance of coach Mirali Gasanov.
Ilima Guseynova entered the final, winning against the participant from Kyrgyzstan Eva Gavshina with a score 6:2, 6:2. The final meeting of the Turkmen tennis player will be held on January 12, her rival will be a peer Emily Kim from Uzbekistan.
Imran Ahundov and Selim Chagylov also reached the final in doubles, in the semifinals they defeated rivals from Kyrgyzstan David Mogilevsky and Sultan Satykeyev (3:6, 6:1, 10:5). In the decisive match, the Turkmen tennis players will meet with the young men from the national team of Uzbekistan on January 12.
It should be noted that in singles Imran Akhundov and Selim Chagylov will play against each other for the 5th -6th place. Another member of the Turkmen team, Natalia Martynova, will also compete for fifth place with Keira Kim from Uzbekistan.
Competitions are held at the stadiums of the Bahrain Federation., won bronze.
