There will be no special delicacies on the New Year's table of astronauts at the International Space Station, writes the “Izvestia” newspaper. The last package to the ISS arrived in October, the next one is expected only in February 2023. The delicacies that will make up the festive space menu were sent by the relatives of the astronauts back in the summer.

Usually, the daily menu of astronauts on the ISS is planned in advance, long before the flight. But families have the opportunity to send them to the station something special from food, to order. It can be sweets - condensed milk, chocolate, sweets, cookies, jams, as well as sea delicacies, nuts, various sauces like adjika, mustard, mayonnaise, wasabi.
This time, it is assumed that Russian cosmonauts and American astronauts have put aside the most delicious dishes sent from Earth in advance and are organizing a festive table for themselves by joint efforts.
