The Guinness Book of World Records will no longer include threatening for life and simply inadequate records, also some records, related to pets, “Komsomolskaya Pravda” reports.

It is known that many people striving to enter the Guinness Book of World Records and get fame and a considerable money reward, will stop at nothing. Including putting your life and health in danger by performing senseless and not quite adequate “feats”. For example, fans set records in the consumption of liters of alcohol per unit of time or in eating hundreds of hamburgers on a bet.

Now such attempts to get into the Book of Records will become meaningless – they will no longer enter them into the Book. The same applies to eating inedible items, for example, bicycles and other things (Frenchman Michel Lotito, who once ate 18 bicycles and 6 chandeliers, became “famous” for this).

The registration of records will also be denied to those owners of pets who forcibly feed their animals to an incredible size, just to get into the Guinness Book of Records. The owners of super fat cats and dogs will lose an impetus to putting health of their pets at risk for the sake of money.
