In New Delhi (India) on November 27 was held the 11th Festival of Songs ABU TV Song Festival, a kind of analogue of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The cultural event is held annually by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) on the eve of the General Assembly meeting of the world's largest broadcasting union. The festival is not competitive in nature.
The best artists from 9 member States of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union performed at the gala concert in New Delhi. ABU TV participants demonstrated the culture and art of their country to the whole world.
Turkmenistan was represented at the ABU TV festival by the winner of the Grand Prix of the youth competition “Star of the Year-2017” Ahmet Atajanov. He performed the song World-Live-Peace. It was the artist's first performance in India.
