The England national team won a major victory over the Iranian team with a score of 6:2 in the match of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The tournament meeting was held in Doha at the Khalifa International Stadium.
Englishmen Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling made the score 3-0 by halftime. Bukayo Soka scored a double in the second half, Marcus Ashford and Jack Grealish scored another goal for the English. As part of the Iranian national team, Porto striker Mehdi Taremi made a double, he scored the second goal from the penalty spot in the 113th minute.
