High school students of Turkmenistan will be able to take part in the FLEX exchange program for 2023-2024. It was declared by US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu at a meeting with reporters in Ashgabat.
“Just this week we received wonderful news from the Government of Turkmenistan that permission to resume the selection of candidate for the FLEX exchange program for participation has been received” Lu said.
As per the words of the Assistant Secretary of State of the USA, 920 Turkmen students participated in the FLEX exchange program for the whole time of existing of the program. Within the framework of the program, they received a chance to study in high school in American schools for one year.
He also noted that the program was paused because of Covid-19 global pandemic.
“We are very happy that as a result of cooperation with the government of Turkmenistan, now we can announce the resumption of the selection of candidates to participate in the program for the next academic year”, stressed Donald Lu.
