The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the sphere of preventing, detecting and committing suspicious financial transactions by the parties.
The document was signed by Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan M.Hudaykulyyev and Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.Mavlonov on October 21 during the Turkmen – Uzbek high level talks within the framework of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Ashgabat.
As the website of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan informs, within the framework of the signed Memorandum, the parties will exchange documents and information about committed or alleged facts of illegal withdrawal of funds abroad.
Besides this document, a Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of personnel preparation. Cooperation in this area is planned to be organized on the basis of educational institutions of the parties. The Memorandum provides for interaction in the following areas: exchange of information on the training system, planning and organization of the educational process; organizing joint educational and scientific events, conducting training seminars.
