Laureate of the Pushkin Competition from Turkmenistan received a tour of Moscow as a reward

Zuhragul Mametkulyevna Jumayeva, a teacher of Russian language and literature at secondary school № 33 in the city of Akdepe, Dashoguz velayat, became a laureate of the XXII International Pushkin competition for teachers of the Russian language abroad entitled “From the language of the Union to the language of the world: why do they learn Russian today?”.

Zuhragul Mametkulyevna personally attended the award ceremony in Moscow. A rich excursion program around the capital of Russia was organized for the winners of the competition from different countries of the world, reported on the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.

- We visited the “Pushkin Memorial apartment on Arbat”, the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Moscow “School № 1520 named after Kaptsov”. We visited Red Square, where a concert and other solemn events were organized in the festive atmosphere”, says Zuhragul Jumayeva.

The winners of the Pushkin Competition were impressed by the fascinating and informative tour to get acquainted with the special sights of the Russian capital, a walk around the territory of the Moscow Kremlin. During the five days of their stay in Moscow, all teachers - participants in the ceremony summing up the results of the Pushkin Competition - were given the opportunity to exchange professional experience, get acquainted with the best teaching methods from well-known innovative linguists.

For more than a twenty-year relay race of the International Pushkin Competition, which is a joint initiative of the editorial office of “Rossiyskaya gazeta” and the Moscow government, thousands of Russian teachers from all continents participated in it, 1100 of them became laureates.

The main award for the winners was an invitation to Moscow for the City Day. The author of the idea and the permanent chairman of the organizing committee of the competition Yadviga Yuferova, deputy chief editor of the “Rossiyskaya gazeta”. Chairman of the Board of Trustees - Mikhail Shvydka, special representative of the President of the Russian Federation on International Cultural Cooperation.

The laureates of the competition from Turkmenistan were Jumayeva Zuhragul Mametkulyevna and Durdyeva Gulnara Ahmedovna.
