50 women entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan participated in an event to discuss the process of the country's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the advantages that the organization offers to member states.
The meeting was held by the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan.
A presentation on the work of the WTO was presented by the Program Officer of the International Trade Center Daria Karman, after which the participants had the opportunity to ask questions on the topic.
Further, the representative of the Ministry of Trade of Turkmenistan made a presentation of the existing trade and economic agreements.
The participants noted that the event was timed very well and helped to raise awareness of local entrepreneurs about the country's accession to the WTO and their potential role in it, reported on the website of the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan.
