A wide range of issues of the development of Turkmen-Chinese relations was discussed today in Ashgabat by Deputy Foreign Minister Wepa Hajiyev with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan Qian Naicheng, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
In order to intensify bilateral political cooperation, the parties emphasized that the main factor in deepening the strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and the PRC is meetings at the highest and high levels.
In this regard, the diplomats discussed the organization of mutual visits of the leaders of the two countries, and also parliamentary and governmental negotiations, reaching an agreement to continue diplomatic contacts in accordance with previously outlined plans.
