1. New amendments to the law “On the establishment of the honorary title of Turkmenistan Ene mähri” have come into force in Turkmenistan. In accordance with the new version of the document, “in the event of the death of a mother, awarded the honorary title of Turkmenistan Ene mähri, the right of her family members to free use of water, gas, electricity and housing and communal services is preserved until the last child reaches the age of majority.
2. 80 Turkmen national ornaments were donated to the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan under the will of Swiss collector Natalie Markaryan-Fard. Among the transferred values are many types of women's and children's jewelry. The donated collection will be on display at the museum until August 25, 2022.

5. The Turkish postal operator Posta ve Telgraf Teşkilatı (PTT) and the “Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan” (TULM) agreed to increase the volume of air mail transportation. The parties signed a bilateral agreement, according to which, once a week, postal items (EMS postal correspondence, letters and parcels) will be delivered to Turkmenistan by air.
6. From September 12 to 17, the international film festival “Pearl of the Silk Road” will be held in the capital of Uzbekistan. The Association “Turmenfilm” named after Oguzhan plans to participate in the competition.
7. The most beautiful woman in the world, according to the results of the voting of the online magazine Nubia, was the 27 years old singer and actress Kim Ji-soo. Over a million people from 116 countries participated in the survey, which lasted five months. 500 thousand respondents voted for a member of the popular K-pop group Blackpink.
8. Azerbaijan Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev commented on the possible closure of schools in the country due to the coronavirus. A full closure of schools is not expected, according to a member of the Azerbaijan government, but classes may be closed in some schools.
9. “Match TV” will show the opening ceremony of the sports games “Children of Asia” with the participation of the team of Turkmenistan. The live broadcast of the opening ceremony will begin at 23:20 Ashgabat time. In total, 273 sets of medals in 19 sports will be played in the competition. Athletes of Turkmenistan will participate in nine sports – 3x3 basketball, boxing, kurash wrestling, athletics, table tennis, swimming, sambo, wrestling (Greco-Roman and freestyle) and archery.
10. The national team of Turkmenistan lost to Kyrgyzstan in the final of the Central Asian Challenge Cup in Bishkek. The meeting between the teams ended with the score - 3:2. In the fifth set in a tie-break, Kyrgyzstan won by 8 points.
