Specialists of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan participated online in a seminar on the topic “On barriers in mutual trade of the CIS member states and proposals for their elimination”.
The seminar was organized by the Council of Heads of the CIS Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and representatives from Russia, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan also participated in the video format.
The meeting participants got acquainted with the work of the CIS Executive Committee to identify existing barriers in mutual trade between the CIS countries, and also discussed the feasibility of involving business circles and chambers of commerce and industry of the CIS member states in this work.
During the event, the possibility of creating a permanent working group of representatives of economic ministries and departments and business communities of the Commonwealth countries was discussed, reported on the website of the CIS Executive Committee.
