The first flight to Moscow flew from Ashgabat after air connection restoration

The first flight after the restoration of the air connection of the “Turkmenistan” Airlines flew from Ashgabat to Moscow today. This is evidenced by the data of the online scoreboard of Moscow Domodedovo Airport.

The Boeing 737-800 aircraft took off from Ashgabat at 19:27 local time.

Regular flights to Moscow will be operated from Ashgabat on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In the opposite direction from Moscow to Turkmenistan, the planes will return to the Turkmenbashi airport.

Let’s remind that in March 2020 due to the pandemic the regular air connection between Ashgabat And Moscow was suspended. At the beginning of June 2022, the “Turkmenistan” Airlines resumed regular flights to Russia on Ashgabat – Kazan route.
