The total amount of transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to more than 24 million 442 thousand USD over the week.
A total of 25 transactions were registered at the auction.
For foreign currency, businessmen from the UK, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased aviation kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi oil processing complex, and representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates bought table salt (SC “Turkmenhimiya”).
Besides that, cotton yarn was sold for foreign currency, which was purchased by entrepreneurs from the UAE, Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan.
The medical supplies and cotton yarn were sold for manats. Purchaser countries: United Arab Emirates, India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan. The total amount of transactions amounted to over 40 million 522 thousand manats.
For the home market, domestic businessmen purchased building materials worth more than 8 million 587 thousand manats.
A week ago, the amount of currency transactions on the stock exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 23 million USD.
