The Head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry Rashid Meredov met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Israel to Turkmenistan Beth-Eden Kite in Ashgabat.
"Strengthening bilateral relations was discussed, including the expansion of political, diplomatic, trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation. The parties noted the positive experience of bilateral cooperation within the framework of regional and international organizations, including the relevance of mutual support for international initiatives," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan said in a statement.
During the conversation, Ambassador Beth-Eden Kite delivered copies of her credentials to Meredov and stressed that during her diplomatic mission in Ashgabat she would make every effort to further expand the partnership between Turkmenistan and Israel.
