The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov became a member of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States.

The participation of G. Berdimuhamedov in the Council of Elders will give a new impetus to Turkmenistan's contribution to deepening multifaceted cooperation in the Turkic world in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, says the report.
