The football players of the English “Manchester City” beat Madrid “Atletico” in the first quarter-final match of the UEFA Champions League.
The meeting, held at the “Etihad” in Manchester, ended with a score of 1:0. The captain of the hosts Kevin De Bruyne scored the only goal in the 70th minute of the match.
After the victory, “citizens” coach Pep Guardiola told in Movistar broadcast, that “Atletico” – are the masters of defending as a team.
We are expected, that they will play 5-3-2, but then “Atletico” adapted and started playing 5-5-0. I feel, that the second match will be similar to that, how the teams played after a scored goal.
It should be noted, that the return game in Madrid, where will be decided the fate of a ticket to the semi-finals, will be held on April 13.
