Almost all Covid restrictions are removed by the Indian authorities

India is canceling all measures introduced because of COVID-19 from March 31. The mask regime is the only exception, with reference to the letter of the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of India Ajay Kumar Bhalla to the heads of the states of the country “MIR 24” reports.

To all states it is advised to remain vigilant and in case of coronavirus burst to take “quick and active action”. In accordance with the publication, India takes the second place in the world in the number of detected cases of COVID-19.

Thus, according to the latest data of the Ministry of healthcare system, since March 2020, the total number of infected has exceeded 43 million, more than 42.4 million have recovered, more than 521 thousand deaths. 60% of the country's population has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
