Sweden will build ecological data safety center

The Swedish EcoDataCenter company announced the construction of one more ecologically safety data-center on its campus. As notes ferra.ru, to reduce the “carbon trace” all the buildings of the new center will be built of wood.

So, the frame, inside walls and ceiling will be made of laminated wood and glued beams. And the heat from the data center will be supplied to the district heating system of the municipality of Falun, where the company’s campus is located. It is noted, that launched in 2018 and at present time consisting of one building ecological data safety center, after completion it will be able to offer up to 80 MW and 35 000 sq. m.

As notes CEO of EcoDataCenter Dan Anderson: “The new data center will help more Swedish and international companies reduce the “carbon trace” of their data center services”.
