Polling station for the Presidential elections in Turkmenistan opened in Astrakhan

The Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan opened Polling station No. 2 for voting in the Presidential elections in Turkmenistan, the Consular Office informed.

“The Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan city) invites citizens of Turkmenistan living on the territory of the Russian Federation to take part in the Early elections of the President of Turkmenistan to be held at Polling station No. 2 in the Consulate of Turkmenistan from March 2 to March 12, 2022 from 07:00 to 19:00 local time at the address: Astrakhan, 1st Arshanskaya Street, Building 11. All citizens of Turkmenistan who reached the age of 18 on the voting day can take part in the elections. You must have a passport of a citizen of Turkmenistan with you,” the message says.

It should be noted that the citizens of Turkmenistan will be able to participate in the elections of their President in 30 countries of the world.

To recap, the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan opened in 2013. The Consular District includes the territories of the Republic of Kalmykia, the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, as well as the Astrakhan, Volgograd and Rostov Regions.

In 2020, Turkmenistan opened the Consulate General in Kazan. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia operates in Moscow.
