The Laboratory of Environmental Protection Technology of the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan received a license to conduct environmental activities in the country. "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age" reports it.
The license issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan gives a right to laboratory specialists to conduct a complex of research on environmental protection in the use and development of natural resources, ensuring increase in the efficiency of their extraction and, at the same time, preventing pollution of nature.
Research involves the methods to preserve the purity of soil, water, air and clean them from various harmful substances.
According to the license received, the laboratory will develop environmental passports, technological regulations, technical specifications and state standards for new types of products manufactured by enterprises, organizations, plants and factories of the country, as well as other facilities of public and private sectors.
The laboratory's specialists have begun developing permitted standards for liquid, gaseous and solid industrial waste emitted by enterprises into the environment, offering recommendations on reducing the negative impact of waste, on their disposal and reuse.
The development of environmentally friendly fertilizers from local raw materials is also underway, the source notes.
