Today marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On this occasion, on behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King of Saudi Arabia Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the entire people of the country.
"Relations between our states are based on mutual respect, equality and reciprocal trust," the Head of State said in his message, stressing that Turkmenistan is interested in expanding bilateral cooperation.
Expressing confidence that thanks to joint efforts, cooperation between the countries will continue developing in the interests of both nations, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud good health, happiness and prosperity, and the people of the country progress and well-being, according to today's issue of the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
