In the period from January to October 2021, the Turkmen export to the European Union countries amounted to 440 million Euros. This is 63% more than in the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to Eurostat.
At the same time, the import from the European countries amounted to 736.6 million Euros, which, in turn, is almost twice as much as a year earlier. Thus, the Foreign trade turnover of Turkmenistan and the EU exceeded 1 billion 176 million Euros for 10 months of 2021.
Italy (379.4 million Euros), Germany (152.5 million Euros) and the Netherlands (50.6 million Euros) were the largest exporters to Turkmenistan.
In the period from January to October 2021, Turkmenistan exported mineral products worth 49.4 million Euros, chemical industry products worth 5.5 million Euros and textiles worth 3.9 million Euros to Italy.
Also, the Turkmen mineral products, chemical industry goods, plastics and rubber were imported to Romania for a total amount of up to 223.6 million Euros.
The export from Turkmenistan to Greece amounted to 25.5 million Euros. The list of the Turkmen goods delivered to this country includes mineral products worth 23.7 million Euros and industrial goods worth 11,340 Euros.
