The start of the Kazakhstan football championship of the 2022 season is scheduled for March 5, reports Sports.ru.
The beginning of the championship will traditionally be preceded by a match for the Super Cup of Kazakhstan. The game between the champion of Kazakhstan "Tobol" and the owner of the Cup of Kazakhstan "Kairat" will be held on March 1.
The matches of the first round of the KPL championship are scheduled for the period of March 5-6. The final, 26th round of the KPL will be held on November 6.
The group stage of the Kazakhstan Football Cup starts on July 8.

Let us remind you, that since 2019, the Turkmen football player Ruslan Mingazov has been playing in the championship of Kazakhstan. The 30 years old midfielder played in the KPL for “Irtysh”, “Shakhter” and “Caspiy” (he spent a total of 46 games in the strongest division of the Kazakhstan championship, hitting the target 10 times and giving 8 assists).
Another Kazakh club, “Kairat”, is coached by Turkmen specialist Kurban Berdyev. The 69 years old coach took over the team in August 2021. Under his leadership, "Kairat" became the winner of the Cup of Kazakhstan-2021 and won the bronze of the championship of Kazakhstan of the season-2021.
Former goalkeeper of the Turkmenistan national football team Yevgeny Naboychenko has been working in the coaching staff of “Tobol” since 2019.
