Today, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left on a working visit to the capital of China, Beijing, where, at the invitation of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, he will take part in the upcoming Opening Ceremony of the XXIV Winter Olympic Games on February 4.
The Head of State was escorted by the officials at the Ashgabat International Airport, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
The XXIV Winter Olympic Games, which include a record 109 events over 15 disciplines in 7 sports, will be held from February 4 to 20, 2022.
