Until April 15, 2022, the government of Russia decided not to apply the requirement for mandatory use of the mobile application ‘Traveling without COVID-19’ to the citizens of Turkmenistan when entering the territory of Russia. The official website of the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat reports it.
Thus, the rules that were in force earlier to provide a COVID Certificate of the standard form on the absence of a coronavirus infection received 48 hours before entering Russia remain in force.
One might recall that the application ‘Traveling without COVID-19’ is mandatory for entry into Russia from the EAEU countries, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. It allows easy monitoring of the PCR test results for coronavirus infection to passengers as well as competent authorities for permission to fly.
