In his speech, he made an overview of the Turkmen-Emirati cooperation in politics, economy, trade and humanitarian relations, which is gaining momentum every year. “The United Arab Emirates and Turkmenistan are linked by a historically established relationship rooted in the distant past. This continues in relations between the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Halifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the President of Turkmenistan, Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The historic visit of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the UAE in October 2021 to participate in the National Day of Turkmenistan on the sidelines of the Expo-2020 Dubai International exhibition was crowned with success. During the visit, 3 agreements and 3 memorandums of understanding were signed.

The UAE is currently a major trading partner of Turkmenistan, with bilateral non-oil trade reaching 398 million USD in 2020 and 501 million USD in 2021.

Economic, political and cultural relations between the UAE and Turkmenistan can be a model for cooperation between other countries.

The UAE is home to more than 200 nationalities, more than 40 churches and places of worship, as well as many world-class educational and cultural institutions, such as the Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi, New York University and the Louvre in Abu Dhabi. This is the best evidence that the founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's values of tolerance, religious freedom and mutual respect are rooted in the essence of the Emirati people.

During 2020 and 2021, the UAE has made achievements in various fields at the national, regional and international level.
