The Pension Fund of Turkmenistan informs that from January 1 2022, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, in addition to the next increase in the size of pensions, benefits, salaries, scholarships, etc., the size of the one-time state allowance for the fifth child and subsequent children will also significantly increase. in family.
The Law of Turkmenistan "On Amendments and Additions to the Code of Turkmenistan on Social Protection of the Population", adopted in support of large families, was officially published on November 22 and will enter into force on January 1, 2022.
According to the changes, from January 1, 2022, a one-time state maternity allowance will be paid in the following amounts:
• at the birth of the first and second child - 130 percent of the base size (507 manat);
• at the birth of a third child - 250 percent of the base size (975 manat);
• at the birth of the fourth child - 500 percent of the base size (1950 manat);
• at the birth of the fifth child - 600 percent of the base size (2340 manat);
• 800 percent of the base amount (3 120 manat) upon the birth of the sixth child;
• 1000 percent of the base amount (3 900 manat) upon the birth of the seventh child;
• 1200 percent of the base amount (4 680 manat) at the birth of the eighth and subsequent children.
The size of the state allowance for childcare has also increased, paid monthly from the date of birth of a child until the age of three.
As you know, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan dated October 8, 2021 "On increasing wages, pensions, state benefits, student scholarships and student salaries in Turkmenistan", from January 1, 2022, the state care allowance will increase by 10% for the child.
In accordance with the above amendments and additions, from January 1, 2022, the size of the state allowance for childcare has been increased from 65 percent of the base amount established for calculating state benefits to 75 percent. In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, the base amount of January 1, 2022 is set at 390 manat.
As a result, the state allowance for childcare will increase by more than 27 percent and will be paid at 292 manat and 50 tenge per child per month. Currently, payments are 230 manat and 10 tenge.
