One of the main projects under construction in Ashgabat - a fashionable hotel with a business center "Karakum" - is preparing to open. Deputy Prime Minister Charymyrat Purchekov reported on the ongoing preparations in this direction to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
The Turkmen leader noted that the new hotel will become the venue for an important international event (ECO summit on November 28 - comment of "Turkmenportal") this year. In this regard, Berdimuhamedov instructed to provide the appropriate service at the highest level, including Internet communications.
The “Karakum” Hotel is a kind of analogue of the caravanserais located along the Great Silk Road on the territory of Turkmenistan, in their ultra-modern design, using the latest technologies and materials, original design solutions and advanced equipment. The complex, covering an area of almost seven hectares, was erected at the intersection of Atamurat Niyazov and Hoja Ahmet Yasavi streets of the Turkmen capital.
The nine-store hotel has 87 rooms: 17 standard, eight family, 47 deluxe, 15 deluxe rooms. There will also be a 500-seat wedding hall, a restaurant, cafes, swimming pools, spa, massage parlors and fitness clubs for the comfort of guests. The business center has offices for work and all the necessary equipment.
The construction of this object by the Turkish company Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri Inşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. started in September 2018. On October 19, the President of Turkmenistan and the head of a Turkish construction company discussed the construction schedule and the date for commissioning the facility.
