In an interview with the "Turkmenportal" correspondent, Yegor Zaytsev, who recently took up the duties of the representative of the World Health Organization in Turkmenistan, shared his opinion on the International Forum of Medical Scientists "Medical Diplomacy - the Basis of a Healthy World" held on October 8 in Ashgabat.

- This International Conference was devoted to issues of medical diplomacy, international health regulations, digitalization, that is, many very important issues today. It allowed participants to share real-world experiences from the COVID-19 pandemic and discuss ways to use it in the future.

The forum in Ashgabat is a rather unique opportunity in our difficult times. I would also like to say about its agenda: it is very interesting for everyone who took part in the forum, and these are representatives of a dozen countries, as well as leaders and high-ranking representatives of the most authoritative international organizations.

The format of the conference is hybrid and the number of people joining it indicates that this is a very useful and important discussion.

The forum is being held on the eve of the Day of Healthcare Workers and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan. I want to congratulate all medical workers of the country on the upcoming professional holiday. They are dedicated to saving the lives, health and well-being of people. The holiday of a medical worker is a holiday for all of us, each of us.
