A draft “Roadmap” for bilateral cooperation, which will include a list of specific measures aimed at further developing a multifaceted partnership, will be developed by Turkmenistan and Serbia. The relevant agreements were reached today during an online meeting between Foreign Ministers Rashid Meredov and Nikola Selakovich, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on topical issues of the bilateral and international agenda, expressing a mutual desire for the further development of Turkmen-Serbian relations in all areas of mutual interest.
In this regard, the heads of the foreign affairs agencies announced the intention of the two countries to further close cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic and humanitarian fields.
The need to intensify contacts between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries was noted. The parties agreed to work on the development of the legal framework for interaction, to develop cooperation in trade, the textile industry, the gas chemical sector, as well as to intensify bilateral contacts in the area of education and science, where both countries have solid potential.
