Early this morning, a long-haul Boeing-777-200LR plane of Turkmenistan Airlines landed at the Turkmenabat International Airport, bringing home from Dubai Turkmen citizens who were forced to stay in the UAE and neighboring countries after the termination of air traffic due to the coronavirus pandemic.
More than 200 compatriots returned to Turkmenistan on flight T5818.
In accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), all citizens who arrived on a charter flight from the UAE will undergo mandatory quarantine.
Turkmenistan continues to work on organizing the export of its citizens who are abroad.
It should be added that the government of the state has previously delivered several times Turkmen citizens who were stuck in foreign countries due to the occurrence of coronavirus from Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Azerbaijan, India, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and the EU countries.
