The tasks of the country's socio-economic development, as well as important issues of state life were considered at a working meeting, which was held by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Tuesday via digital video communication.
Opening the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan summoned the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh.Durdylyev and B. Ovezov, as well as the hyakim of the Balkan velayat T. Atahalliev to a live video link.
The head of the administration of the western region of the country reported on the state of affairs in the velayat, the holding of seasonal agricultural campaigns, including the care of wheat, preparation for spring field work.
It was also reported on the measures taken to bring the equipment and implements for sowing cotton to the proper operational condition, cultivate land, in particular, allocated for spring potatoes and vegetable and melon crops, clean up irrigation and drainage collectors, address the tasks set by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and arising from National Rural Program.
In addition, hyakim reported on the progress of construction of various facilities, work on the stable functioning of heating systems in residential buildings, schools and kindergartens in the region and on providing the population of the velayat with electricity, gas and water.
After listening to the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of the proper conduct of all agricultural work in accordance with the standards of agricultural technology, complete readiness of machinery and equipment for the sowing season, maintaining the proper condition of land to obtain generous harvests of wheat.
Along with sowing cotton, it is necessary to pay attention to planting other crops, the leader of the nation noted. It is also necessary to focus on the tasks of timely and high-quality execution of works planned for the current year, commissioning of facilities, actively applying advanced practices and innovative technologies, the leader of the nation emphasized, giving the hyakim specific instructions.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Ovezov, who is in charge of the Balkan velayat, reported on the state of affairs at the facilities being built in the region, which he got acquainted with during his working trip.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that in Balkanabat, the construction of the building “Turkmenin ak oyi” (“Turkmen white yurt”) building is underway at an accelerated pace and in the city of Turkmenbashi, the construction of a multidisciplinary and infectious diseases hospital continues, and in the Avaza etrap of the city of Turkmenbashi - a cottage complex.
Summing up the report, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to properly organize the work being carried out in the region, to control the construction of facilities planned for commissioning on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of sacred independence.
In this regard, the head of state focused on the external and internal design of new buildings, its compliance with national traditions, giving the Deputy Prime Minister and the hyakim specific instructions.
Then the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdylyev reported on the progress of work at the facilities, the commissioning of which is planned in the regions of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Motherland.
After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan addressed the Deputy Prime Minister with instructions to strictly control the pace of work on new buildings, which will be a wonderful gift for a glorious holiday, to make every effort to put them into operation in a high-quality and timely manner.
Then the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers E. Orazgeldiev and the hyakim of Mary velayat D. Annaberdiev were summoned via digital video communication.
The head of the regional administration reported on the state of affairs in the velayat, measures taken to ensure, in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology, work carried out on agricultural land, on the preparation of land and agricultural machinery for the sowing season, including for planting vegetables and melons.
The hyakim also reported that all structures of the velayat are carrying out activities to successfully fulfill the tasks arising from the National Rural Program, to systematically increase the social security of the region's population.
After hearing the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to organize work in the velayat in accordance with the requirements of the time, paying special attention to ensuring the proper functioning of heating systems of residential buildings, schools and kindergartens, social infrastructure in etraps, cities and towns on these winter days.
As the head of state noted, along with the ongoing field work, it is necessary to pay attention to the preparation for the upcoming spring sowing so that this important agricultural campaign takes place in an orderly manner and in a short time.
Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers E. Orazgeldiev reported on the results of the undertaken working trip to Mary velayat, informing about the targeted comprehensive measures taken here.
As reported, the relevant work is currently continuing on the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline originating in the Mary velayat and the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan power transmission lines.
The Vice Prime Minister also reported on measures to increase the pace of construction of facilities in the velayat as part of the implementation of the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025" and the National Rural Program.
Having listened to the report, the head of state noted the importance of stepping up the construction of objects for various purposes and addressing the issues of harmonious combination of advanced modern experience and traditions of national architecture during their construction, giving specific instructions in this regard to Deputy Prime Ministers Sh. Durdylyev, E. Orazgeldiev and Hyakim D. Annaberdiev.
The leader of the nation pointed out the need to organize a working trip of the hyakims of the velayats to the Mary velayat in order to exchange positive experience, during which the heads of regional administrations will get acquainted with his achievements in agriculture and cultural life, which will serve to further optimize their activities, and gave instructions in this context relevant leaders.
Then, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov summoned Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Mammedova, as well as Minister of Culture A. Shamyradov for direct communication.
The Vice Prime Minister reported on the preparation of a special program for broad coverage of the events held annually under the motto “Turkmenistan is the Motherland of Peace and Confidence” and the Plan for its successful implementation.
Then the Minister of Culture A. Shamyradov reported on the program of events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan and the significant celebrations of the year “Turkmenistan is the
Motherland of Peace and Trust”. In honor of the dates that are important in the history of the Motherland, bright musical performances, competitions, exhibitions and conferences of various levels will be organized.
After hearing the report, the leader of the nation focused on the need to make every effort to ensure that the celebrations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the country's sacred independence and significant holidays correspond to the high creative spirit of the era.
The planned cultural events, which are of great importance in enriching the spiritual world of our people, should organically combine national traditions and modern experience. They are designed to reflect the country's large-scale achievements, its successes in various spheres of the economy, the happy life of the people, the head of state said, stressing the need to organize the work carried out in this direction at a high level, their compliance with the requirements of the time.
All this is of great importance in the spiritual enrichment of the people and the wide popularization of the successes of our independent, neutral Motherland, the leader of the nation said.
Works carried out in all spheres of the economy must fully comply with the requirements of the day and international standards. Thus, in order to improve activities in these areas, it is necessary to actively introduce modern experience and latest technologies, the President of the country noted, giving a number of instructions to the relevant leaders.
Particular importance should be attached to ensuring a high level of events planned on the occasion of the glorious anniversary date - the 30th anniversary of independence, the head of state said, according to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
