The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the state Committee for television, radio broadcasting and cinematography of Turkmenistan have signed an agreement with the “Mir” International TV and radio company on cooperation in the field of information policy.
The relevant documents were signed today during a video meeting between Deputy Prime Minister R. Meredov and Chairman of ITRC “Mir” R. Batyrshin.
Meredov noted that Turkmenistan considers ITRC “MIR” as one of the leading TV and radio broadcasting companies with a multi-million audiences, emphasizing its important mission in strengthening political, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between countries and peoples.
The parties also discussed practical cooperation between the state Committee of Turkmenistan on television, radio broadcasting and cinematography and “Mir”.
The signing of these documents is an important step towards expanding the capabilities of the Turkmen media by placing news and information-analytical materials on the resources of the ITRC “MIR”, which broadcasts to dozens of countries around the world, the website of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
