In the conference hall of the center of public organizations, activists of the Makhtumkuli Youth organization were honored, timed to the day of its formation.

Youth policy in Turkmenistan is implemented within the framework of national legislation and on the basis of generally accepted principles. Today, one of the main tasks is to assist young people in mastering modern specialties, improving theoretical knowledge, improving practical skills, studying digital technologies, new scientific ideas, advanced research and technological experience.

In this context, it is important to note that special attention is paid to the involvement of young, energetic and enthusiastic Turkmen citizens in the implementation of the sustainable development Goals aimed at improving the well-being and prosperity of our planet.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highly appreciates the activities of the Turkmen youth, noting that they " are the strength and power, honor and authority, as well as the great future of the Motherland!".

Addressing the participants of the VI Congress of the Makhtumkuli Youth organization in September 2019, the head of state set specific tasks for the Turkmen youth, as well as defined the main areas of work in line with the state youth policy and national development strategies.

These include: providing legal and social protection for young people, promoting spiritual, moral and cultural values, promoting the principles of a healthy lifestyle, fostering patriotism and civic responsibility, as well as supporting and encouraging youth initiatives, including entrepreneurial ones.

State policy in this area is inextricably linked with the activities of the Makhtumkuli Youth organization of Turkmenistan, which unites over 900,000 members and is the largest public Association in the country that expresses the interests of young citizens.

Since its Foundation, namely, on November 16, 1991, this structure has been carrying out fruitful work to educate physically strong and spiritually-moral youth, hardworking, capable, devoted to the Motherland generation.

On the day of the formation of the Youth organization, it has become a good tradition to honor young people for their worthy contribution to the strengthening of state sovereignty and the progress of the country, great success in work and creativity.

This year, held under the motto "Turkmenistan is the birthplace of Neutrality", 47 people from all regions and Ashgabat who distinguished themselves in the fields of culture, science and technology, education and educational work, sports, health care, etc. were awarded with relevant certificates and valuable gifts on behalf of the leader of the nation.

Among them are teachers, postgraduates, University students and schoolchildren, members of creative teams, journalists, employees of various ministries and departments.

Activists of the youth movement were awarded with domestic smart TVs "Tolkun" produced by ES "Aýdyń gijeler", including young specialists who actively joined the implementation of the program initiated by the head of Turkmenistan for the creation and development of the electronic industry.

The participants of the solemn ceremony expressed their deep gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for his policy, assuring the head of state that the country's youth will continue to make a worthy contribution to the development of the Motherland, its further prosperity, and the multiplication of the glorious victories and achievements of the native people.

On the occasion of this celebration, an exhibition dedicated to the achievements of the country was organized in the center of public organizations, as well as performances by creative teams, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports today.
