The Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan received the newly appointed Ambassador of Japan Hiroyuki Yamamoto

Today, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to Turkmenistan Hiroyuki Yamamoto, who presented copies of credentials to the head of the foreign Ministry. This is reported by the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The sides noted the fruitful nature of the Turkmen-Japanese cooperation at the interstate and interdepartmental levels.

The effectiveness of the partnership between the two countries through the Ministry of foreign Affairs, including holding political consultations on a systematic basis, was emphasized. It was noted that within the framework of the "Central Asia + Japan " discusses the implementation of specific cooperation projects.

The productive long-term work of Japanese companies in the oil and gas and chemical industries of Turkmenistan was also noted.

In order to fully implement the agreements reached earlier in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, the diplomats noted the importance of cooperation between the relevant structures of the two States.

The parties agreed to continue active cooperation on a wide range of issues.
